Frequently Asked Questions
How Much Does it Cost?
Every event is unique, and pricing will vary based on your specific needs. We're committed to working closely with you to create an unforgettable experience that fits your budget. So no matter your budget, don’t hesitate to reach out — we’ll always do our best to make it work.
What are the minimum space requirements?
A flat, clean and dry floor space that is at least 5 metres deep, 3 metres wide , 2.8 metres high with access to mains power within 30m.
How long does set-up and pack-down take?
Unloading, enclosure building, technology testing and setup of all the necessary components typically takes around 2 hours, but can vary significantly. Breakdown and loading time is typically 1 hours. If necessary, setup/breakdown can be arranged for the day before/after your event.
Can the simulator be used indoors and outdoors?
Yes. For outdoor events the space would ideally be in a fully enclosed tent or weatherproof space.
It's also worth mentioning that bright sunlight can impact the quality of the image projection, but rest assured, steps are taken to minimise this where possible. It is strongly advisable that a contingency space/covered area is available that meets the minimum space requirements to avoid any potential weather issues at your event.
Please be aware that if for any reason it is deemed unsuitable or unsafe by On Par Events staff due to the forecasted or actual weather conditions on or during your event (including during the set up/take down period) then it may not be possible to operate our service. In which case, our outdoor event weather cancellation and refund policy below would apply (this policy only applies for outdoor events that are cancelled specifically due to the weather forecast or actual weather during the event)
Outdoor events cancelled due to the weather forecast more than 24 hours before the event set up time begins = refund of any amount paid, minus 50% of the total invoice amount.
Outdoor events cancelled less than 24 hours before the event set up time begins = no refund.
Do you take care of the set-up?
Yes. However, in order to provide you with the best experience and to keep our pricing competitive, we kindly request that a designated member of your team, venue staff or a guest be available to assist our staff with a simple, safe and fully explained task during the setup and take down of the mobile golf simulator. This will involve approximately 5 minutes of their time before and after your event.
What is the minimum hire period?
3 Hours (this does not include set-up and pack-down).
Will there be someone on site to host the simulator?
We offer both staffed and unstaffed options to suit your needs. For fully hosted events, an On Par Events team member will be on site for the duration—handling setup, guiding guests, running competitions, and ensuring everything runs smoothly. Prefer a self-managed experience? No problem—we’ll provide all the instructions you need to run the simulator with ease.
Do you supply all equipment?
No need to bring anything—we provide all the necessary equipment for your event. However, guests are welcome to use their own golf clubs if they prefer, as long as the clubs are clean and free of dirt to avoid damaging the simulator screen.
Can you accommodate both right and left handed guests?
Yes. We supply high quality golf clubs for both right and left-handed guests. We also operate world leading launch monitor technology that does not need to be moved.
What game options can be played?
We offer a wide variety of game modes and will recommend the best options based on the vision and format of your event. Using industry-leading software, you will have access to over 100 of the world’s most iconic golf courses.
For most events, popular formats like Nearest the Pin and Longest Drive work brilliantly—complete with live leaderboards and friendly competition. You can even offer prizes for the winners, or simply let them enjoy the bragging rights. For smaller groups or more relaxed settings, guests also have the option to play full holes or even complete rounds.
Is there custom branding available?
Absolutely! Custom branding is a fantastic way to elevate your event and align the simulator with your wider event theme or corporate identity. We offer a range of options, and a tailored quote will be provided based on your specific requirements.
Customer Banner
We can create a custom banner to display on our banner stand. It’s a great visual focal point and a perfect opportunity to highlight your brand or message. Your custom banner is yours to keep after the event, should you wish.
Custom Pop-Up Banners (Horizontal or Vertical)
Add a personalised touch with either a horizontal or vertical pop-up banner positioned in front of the simulator enclosure. These are ideal for showcasing logos, taglines, or sponsor messaging—and they're yours to keep after the event.
Custom Golf Balls
Perfect for prizes, giveaways, or just that extra branded detail, we can provide custom golf balls featuring your logo or message. A minimum order applies, and your design will be printed with high-quality detail.
Design & Lead Time
For all custom branding, we recommend submitting your artwork or design brief at least 4 weeks before your event. This ensures enough time for proofing, approval, and delivery.
Do you have public liability insurance?
Yes.
