By accessing or using our Services — including hiring our golf simulators or engaging with our event activations — you agree to be bound by these Legal Terms.
If you do not agree, please discontinue use immediately.

1. Services Overview

​

On Par Events provides professional golf simulator hire, installation, and management for events, venues, and corporate activations.
We also provide access to our online booking platform and related content through our website.

The information provided through our Services is intended for users in Australia. If you access the Services from outside Australia, you are responsible for compliance with local laws.

The Services are intended for users aged 18 years and older.

2. Setup, Operation & Venue Requirements

​

• Setup & Pack Down: Setup requires approximately 1.5 hours, and pack down takes 45 minutes post-event.

• Tutorial: A 20-minute tutorial will be provided before each event, covering operation, safety, and basic troubleshooting.

• Venue Access: A minimum of 3m (W) × 5m (L) × 2.7m (H) of clear space is required, with access to power and vehicle parking for delivery.

• Surface: Must be flat, level, and free of obstructions.

• Lighting: Indirect lighting is preferred; avoid direct sunlight on the screen.

• Guest Conduct: The client is responsible for supervising guests and ensuring respectful, safe use of all equipment.

3. Payment Terms

​

• Hire Fee: Full payment is due at least 7 days before the event.

• Security Deposit: A refundable $1,000.00 damage deposit is collected on the day of the event before setup.

• Outstanding Costs: If damage exceeds the deposit amount, the client agrees to cover the additional cost upon invoice.

4. Damage, Liability & Indemnity

​

• The client accepts full responsibility for the safe use of the simulator during the event.

• On Par Events is not liable for:

  • Damage to property caused by errant (“mis-hit”) golf shots.

  • Injury resulting from unsafe or improper use of the simulator or accessories.

  • Event disruptions beyond our control (including weather, venue access issues, or power failures).

• The client agrees to indemnify and hold harmless On Par Events from any claims, losses, or damages arising from misuse or negligence.

5. Technical Issues & Refunds

​

• Minor connectivity or tracking issues may occur and are typically resolved using the troubleshooting guide provided.

• In the unlikely event of a major technical fault preventing continuation of the event, a 90% refund of the hire fee will be issued.

• Refund eligibility is determined by a reasonableness assessment, including cause, troubleshooting efforts, and event impact.

6. Weather Policy

​

• Our simulators are not weatherproof

• If severe weather prevents safe operation, the event will be cancelled and 90% of the hire fee refunded.

• Weather-related cancellations are assessed on the day of the event.

7. Client Cancellations

​

• Within 7 days of event: 50% refund.

• Within 48 hours: Non-refundable (except weather-related).

• Cancellations must be submitted in writing to info@onparevents.com.au.

8. Force Majeure

​

On Par Events is not responsible for service failure caused by factors beyond our control, including but not limited to:

• Power outages

• Road closures or transport issues

• Government restrictions

• Natural disasters

In such cases, we will make reasonable efforts to reschedule or issue a partial refund.

9. Media & Marketing

​

With the client’s consent, On Par Events may capture photos or videos of the event setup for marketing purposes.
Clients may opt out by notifying us prior to the event.

10. Website Use & Intellectual Property

​

All content on our Site — including logos, designs, graphics, and written materials — is the property of On Par Events and is protected under Australian copyright and trademark laws.

You are granted a limited, non-transferable, revocable license to view or print content for personal, non-commercial use only.
No reproduction, distribution, or modification is permitted without written permission.

11. Purchases, Payments & Pricing

​

• All transactions on our Site must be made using accurate billing information.

• Prices are displayed in AUD and may change without notice.

• We accept major credit cards and other payment methods as displayed during checkout.

12. Data & Privacy

​

We may collect and store data related to your booking, including contact details, venue information, and event preferences.
Your data is managed in accordance with Australian privacy laws and our Privacy Policy.

13. Termination & Refusal of Service

​

We reserve the right to refuse service or cancel an event booking at our discretion if:

• The venue does not meet safety or access requirements.

• The client or guests engage in unsafe or disrespectful conduct.

• The event breaches legal or regulatory obligations.

In such cases, appropriate refunds or partial credits will be issued based on circumstances.

14. Disclaimer

​

All equipment and services are provided “as-is”.
While we ensure professional setup and operation, we make no guarantees regarding uninterrupted operation or specific outcomes.
Use of our equipment is at the client’s own risk.

15. Limitation of Liability

​

To the fullest extent permitted by law, On Par Events shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from the use of our Services.
Our total liability shall not exceed the total hire fee paid for the affected event.

16. Governing Law

​

These Terms are governed by the laws of New South Wales, Australia, and any disputes will be handled under the exclusive jurisdiction of New South Wales courts.
